  • Wayne Smolda
    Chairman of the Board

    Mr. Smolda founded CEI in 1983 and is a pioneer of the accident and fleet driver management industry. An acknowledged leader in the fleet services business, he was named to the Fleet Hall of Fame in 2010. From 1998 through 2006, Mr. Smolda was a member of the Board of Directors of Providence Washington Insurance Company and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Arbitration Forums, Inc.

  • John Wysseier
    President and CEO

    Mr. Wysseier re-joins CEI as a seasoned executive with a strong track record of customer service, business growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence. A member of the CEI Group from 2001-2006, Mr. Wysseier led Business Development and Operations, and he later became Managing Director of European Operations for CEI’s first venture outside North America.

  • Claudia Smolda
    Chief of Staff

    Mrs. Smolda is one of CEI's founding partners and established and has long headed the firm's Human Resources Department. Named to her current position as Chief of Staff in 2016, she assists CEI's senior executives in leveraging the company's human capital base. She’s responsible for the family culture at CEI that has earned the company numerous awards and recognition as a top workplace with one of the industry’s most highly engaged employee work force - As measured by Gallup.

  • Bob Glose
    Sr. VP, Operations & Enterprise Resources

    Mr. Glose heads CEI’s daily accident management operations, including repair, loss recovery, and salvage services. A 13-year CEI veteran, Mr. Glose previously served as manager of the company’s data network and infrastructure and as manager of client services before assuming his current position.

  • Eliot Bensel
    Vice President, Account Development

    Mr. Bensel most recently served as Vice President of Technical Sales and Advisory Services for Element Fleet Management where he was responsible for analytical consultation in support of risk, safety, and accident management programs. His experience over the last 25 years with Element in risk, safety, and accident services made him a perfect fit for account development duties here at CEI.

  • Randy Denmyer
    Vice President, Accident Management Services

    Mr. Denmyer has been in the fleet industry since 2002 when he joined Element Fleet Management, and he has taken on several management positions since 2009 in which he was responsible for repair management, supplier network and quality, and accident management delivery in what is now CEI Sparks in Maryland.

  • Kathy Latzko, SHRM-SCP
    Vice President, Human Capital Operations

    Mrs. Latzko joined CEI in 1986 and has been in key management positions in its Human Resources department since 1993. Her career has been dedicated to developing the company’s employee growth while maintaining its award-winning culture. She is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies to enable CEI to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. Mrs. Latzko is a member of SHRM.

  • Ken Latzko
    Vice President, Sales and Marketing

    Mr. Latzko leads CEI’s sales, marketing, and sales support teams. He joined CEI in 2004 and served in a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in operations, sales support, and sales before being named to his present position. His experience includes operations troubleshooting and customer service for large accounts in the U.S. and Europe, strategic planning, and directing CEI’s growth in all fleet markets.

  • Chris Villella
    Vice President, Strategic Relationship Management

    Mr. Villella is responsible for strategic consulting and implementation activities for all of CEI’s accounts, and business development of accounts in special markets. He joined CEI in 1989 as a subrogation specialist and advanced to Senior Manager in loss recovery and insurance services in 2005, a position he held until being named Sr. Director, Account Management in 2015.

  • John Wolford
    Vice President, Business Process, Quality, and Sourcing

    A 27-year veteran of CEI, Mr. Wolford is responsible for overall management of day to day relationships with CEI’s clients and provider network. In addition to the company’s Client Services Department, he oversees the Provider Network, Quality Control, Loss Recovery and Vehicle Remarketing departments.

  • Bill Lawrence
    Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. Lawrence has been CEI’s chief investment officer since he joined the company in 1998. He came to CEI after 23 years at SPS Technologies, where he had been corporate director of information technology, manager of manufacturing, corporate manager of manufacturing control systems, and controller of the firm’s aerospace division.

  • Steve Enoch
    Chief Information Officer

    A career information technology professional and a 14-year CEI veteran, Mr. Enoch has been instrumental in structuring and managing a host of IT resources essential to CEI’s industry leadership. They range from in-house programming of automated claims handling and reporting solutions to data security and uninterrupted customer access to user-friendly interfaces.

  • Brian Kinniry
    Sr. Director, Strategic Services

    Responsible for leading the company’s innovation and technology integration initiatives for driver safety programs, Mr. Kinniry is a 10-year veteran with CEI, and he previously served as a strategic account services team leader and manager of risk and safety solutions.
